Thanks for joining The CQC Way conversation. This phase of the conversation is now closed, HOWEVER... 

You'll notice some ideas and suggestions with blue pins next to them. It was these that emerged as potential "key CQC Way statements" in the first phase of our nation-wide engagement. The purpose of this phase was to use our Safe Space technology to "check and challenge" these statements 2,500 people joined in from the public, care providers and stakeholders more widely to share what they felt was strong, wrong or missing. Our analysts are working on their feedback now. Sadly, you'll not be able to add anything new, for now.

Why are we doing this?

It’s time for the CQC to build a new contract with the sectors we regulate and with our wider community of stakeholders and colleagues. We’re calling this the CQC Way, and we are determined to co-create this together with you.

The events and online workshops described above will bring thousands of people together for a chance to:
  • reflect honestly on what it’s been like to be on the receiving end of the CQC,
  • explore bold possibilities for the future, and
  • shape our goals and ways of working.

In all these engagements, you can expect radical candour, meaningful dialogue, and an opportunity to help define the CQC’s role and approach.

Your perspective and support in this critical journey are vital as we strive to realise the full potential of the CQC. Join us today to shape the future of regulation and care.

How does it work?

This platform will host the online Safe Spaces conversations. Safe Spaces works a bit like a social media platform; you can join around your work patterns and contribute as much or as little as you like, at a time that suits you.

The process is anonymous meaning everybody can feel safe sharing their honest thoughts and feelings. The conversation is:

  • Anonymous – your name is not attached to anything you share
  • Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week while the conversation is live
  • Accessible from wherever you may be – on any computer, tablet or smartphone
  • Analysed independently, so you can feel safe to share how you really feel.
